Rich girl Desiree Cartier (Taylor Cole) and her brother Blaine (Josh Henderson) plan a prank to ruin the reputation of fellow rich girl Milan Hastings (Sabrina Aldridge) at a debutante coming out party they throw for Torrance Caldwell (Scout Taylor-Compton). Milan dies after stumbling off a balcony and a year later, they find out that someone knows what they did last April fool's day.

One year later, after court hearings exonerate everyone and giving estate control to Desiree, six of the remaining friends are summoned to Milan's gravesite. The back stabbing begins, but the siblings try to solve the murders before they are next.
