Synopsis
Based on a true story, Thora Birch stars as Barbara a young woman with an intelligence near genius proportions. However, Barbara has dropped out of college and has applied her prodigious smarts into working as a prostitute.

When an older, lonely man named Harry Berge (Dan Moran) is found dead, lying on Barbara's bathroom floor with his head bashed in, she calls on her boyfriend Jerry (Brendan Sexton III) who strongly suggests they call the police, but Barbara convinces him to bury the dead guy in the snow somewhere.

Local police officer Detective Lulling (Keith Carradine) begins to become very suspicious of Barbara's motives.
