Synopsis
Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) directs this re-imaging of the classic horror film.

Supernatural's Jared Padalecki stars as Clay, who is searching for his missing sister. Clay ventures into the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake, where he comes across the creaky remains of rotting old cabins that lie in wait behind the trees. And that's not the only thing hiding under the bushes.

Against advice from police and warnings from locals, Clay pursues what few leads he has, with the help of a young woman he meets among a group of college kids who are up for a thrilling weekend. But they are about to find much more than they bargained for.

They don't realise that they have entered the domain of one of the most terrifying spectres - the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake, armed with a razor-sharp machete.... Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears).

Support cast includes Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti and Travis Van Winkle.
