Synopsis
They're all too easy to rely on - the material things that seem to give our lives meaning. Glenn Close stars in this moving American Beauty style drama about four suburban families whose lives intersect around a comatose yuppy. Adolescent doll fetishists, this one's for you. In her third feature, innovate director Rose Troche (Go Fish) leaves no slimy rock unturned, following nearly a dozen damaged characters as they slowly crawl out from under the rotting suburban dream.
