Andrew Dice Clay is rock'n'roll detective Ford Fairlane who unplugs the case of a Heavy Metal star who gets fried alive on stage, and the result is hard-boiled mayhem. Kind of Purple Rain meets Die Hard meets The Maltese Falcon, this stuntastic satire not only stars the only entertainer ever banned from MTV (and boycotted by Sinead O'Conner on SNL), but was helmed by Renny Harlin, the LA noir visionary behind Die Hard II.
