Michael Crichton's jungle adventure stars Tim Curry as a scientist travelling into the heart of the Congo in search of a rare diamond guarded by man-eating apes. Needed to fuel a super-weapon the diamonds are only part of the deal; the expedition's other purpose is to return a talking animatronics ape - designed by creature creator Stan Winston (Terminator) and acted by stunt veteran and bear-actor Misty Rosas - to the wild.
